ABOUT

hiya!

Hiya! I’m Elizabeth (Elisabeth to my Oma), and the “Lissie” behind lissie ceramics. I began my pottery journey in 2021 after a dear friend said she signed up for a class at our local clay studio, and something in me immediately wanted to join as well. After a year in the pandemic, 4 years of being a mother to two young girls, and a lifetime of wanting to create, I recognized that I needed something for myself. One class and I fell in love with ceramics. My work is a product of my experiences, and my fierce love of all things bright and whimsical.I hope you will join me as I create what inspires me. Please stay awhile and keep in touch by signing up for my newsletter or follow my adventures on Instagram! If you have any questions, wholesale inquiries or custom orders, fill out the contact form below. I’m so happy to be here with you.

FAQ

Q: Are my pots dishwasher safe?

Amazing news- Your pottery is Dishwasher, Microwave and Food Safe! Handwashing with a soft sponge or scrubber intermittently is recommended to increase its longevity.* Avoid extreme temperature changes with your pottery, it can crack from the stress of it. *If your piece has gold luster, it is NOT microwave and dishwasher safe. Handwash only.

Q: Can I order a custom piece?

Yes! Let’s talk! Fill out the contact form on my site, and I will get back to you about what we can create together.

Q: What do I use my pot for?

Whatever you’d like, I am not here to limit your creativity and vision!

Q: Do you have any snakes as pets?

No, I do not, BUT, I love the shapes that snakes make as they move through the world. That is what inspired my snake collections.
